What do Chinese Think of Us Mexicans? Can They Forgive Spanish?

I would like to ask the Chinese what do they think of us mexicans?? Just this past weekend on August 9 and 10, there was a large Chinese Festival in Tijuana, Mexico:

I saw the news about what the Spanish Basketball players did. And if it would help ease the tension. I would like to apologize for what they did. Even though I am Mexican.
I have a brother in law (another mexican) whose sister married a Chinese Mexican in our area in Mexico. They met while they attended a university in Mexico studying Archtecture. They got married and are to open an office.
We are further inside Mexico in the Guanajuato area. Here is an example of what it looks like:

Why do you want to suck up to the Chinese? Just be yourself (whatever “ethnicity” you are). Who cares what the Chinese think. Ethnicity is an outdated dangerous concept and causes only problems (like wars). Chinese in general are quite ethnocentric but I hope you are not!

A Chinese girl I know just laughed the incident off. They're probably used to it. But if they're pissed, understandably so.
